Something About Ted (from my journal) as the 5-year mark approaches

The rose Ted bought me Saturday night for $5.00 is still in tact! lasting much longer than I thought, but it should for that price.  He does this, gives money to these vendors, selling in the street, such a hard life.  My favorite though is when he gives a twenty to a homeless person – the look on their face – no less than shock, some even brought to tears, then I also.  And Ted, always in such a rush, when I asked why so, he said because he feels he doesn’t have long enough to live and wants to do as much as possible.  Is this rational?  No. Why does he get that feeling?  He doesn’t know either.
