Ted’s “early” Life Goals

Among the many lists Ted loved to make and use to coordinate his thoughts, I found a list he created for similar use on “Life Goals.”   Ted thought long and deeply about the order of what was important for himself, and as a tool for students to use as a guide.   There is no doubt this was not the final structure, but I thought it would be interesting for others to take note of how Ted began to organize the idea of Life Goals at that time.

Barbie, thank you for this wonderful “Life Goals” list that Ted compiled. I am Faron Shepard’s wife. He studied with Ted for 20+ years. I will share this with him. He still studies with him. Ted’s handwriting is a very familiar sight in our home. Faron is so grateful to have a book full of Ted’s chord charts. I hope that all is well with you sweetheart. Julianna Shepard

Hello Julianna! I am so glad to hear from you and I certainly remember both you and Faron! It’s gratifying to know that Faron is still studying and benefiting from Ted’s lesson material. Since you have found this Archive then you might already realize there is a wealth of information, lesson material and video of Ted available in various places on the internet you can get to from here.

Well Julie, all is as good as possible under the circumstances. It is heartwarming to know that Ted remains a positive light in your lives. Take good care, all my best to you, Barbara
